WELCOME ACTIVITIES

Are designed to help you settle in and find your way around. We also help you with residential survival tips!! We can help you to familiarise yourself with the city, the country and provide insights into topics such as our political system, legal system, personal safety and Aussie culture.

SOCIAL OUTINGS

The RA team organises various social outings throughout the semester, which are optional for residents to participate in. These range from trips to the movies, football matches, theatre, shows, and harbour cruises. The range of events ensures that the social, sporting and cultural interests of residents are catered for. These events also range in cost to residents, from no cost at all, to a minimal ticket charge depending on the type and level of event.

SOCIAL GET-TOGETHERS

Low key social gatherings are organised by the RAs such as meet & greets, postgraduate drinks and exchange student gatherings. Each RA is also allocated a group of residents, inducts them into the Village and mentors them with any issues during their transition period.
