GETTING AROUND

Macquarie University Village is within walking distance to all University facilities. It is only a 10 minute walk to the other side of campus where the Macquarie Centre is located, with shops, restaurants, movie cinema and ice skating rink.

Within the campus is a large bus stop with multiple bus routes stopping through the University. Buses go directly to Sydney CBD and other surrounding suburbs/areas. City Rail has constructed a train station right on campus, which opened in 2009 with direct services to Chatswood.

The most common form of transport other than walking is cycling. The Village is installing multiple bike racks within the Village to allow secure storing of residents bikes.
